Hannah & Dan - Holy Family RC Church, Wigan & Brookfield Masonic Hall, Westhoughton

04/07/2015

Hannah & Dan booked their wedding coverage with us at the start of 2014, ensuring they did not miss out on their special day:-)

Having done an engagement shoot with them, I knew both were a little shy around a camera, tho they said they felt relaxed with me.

Fthr Kevin at Holy Church had requested in advance that we did not enter the church sanctuary area, so we were unable to photograph from the front as we would normally do, however this did not stop us getting them some lovely images for them to remember their day by.

At 9:30am my 2nd shooter Ian headed to Dan's to cover him & his best man getting ready, whilst I headed to Hannah's parents to cover Hannah getting ready, and what fun we had, all Dan's moments captured (including YouTubing how to tie their ties) whilst I had lots of  laughs with Hannah, her bridesmaids & her parents, when ready to head to the church I was packed off with a 'luck pack' including a stack (see mountain) of sandwiches from Debbie (mum)  , just in case the soup & sandwiches at the venue for myself & Ian had been forgotten about, as we would be with them till at least 10pm.

The service was beautiful & having promoted the happy couple on how to stand we obtained some lovely images from the service, the sunshine held for the group shots outside the church and whilst I took the new Mr & Mrs Hardman off for their private photo's, Ian went with the guests to the venue, Brookfields Hall, Westhoughton, to obtain any group shots that they wanted.

The time alone with Hannah & Dan gave them some lovely images, gave them time to relax & enjoy a few min's alone for the 1st time that day, this is something that I think is extremely important for them both and always produces some lovely shots, even the vidiographer was not with them.

We then carried on to Brookfields Hall, where more family photos were taken before the meal, as is customary, the speeches were photographed & we did get our soup & sandwiches :-) . Whilst the room was being turned round after the meal, we set up the photo booth which was a hit with all guests old & young, we do not mind children having their photo taken so long as accompanied by an adult, however due to the number of 'goes'the children were having we did have to say that for the final hour it was adults only to accommodate the number of adults that had not had the chance.

Below are some of the images from their day, the rest can be viewed in the gallery if you obtain the password from them, the booth images are not password protected & can be viewed in the booth gallery.
