It was a year between being booked for Sarah & Jay's big day & it arriving, and because of the distance we did not actually get to meet till the big day, however with all the phone calls & emails it was like meeting old friends.
Sean accompanied me as 2nd shooter for this 1/2 day afternoon booking & due to the distance away we decided that we would aim to be there early & have lunch before we started. so we arrived at Simonstone Hall nice & early, giving Sarah a heart attack as she thought it was later, after lunch in a cafe we made our way back to start shooting.
Sean covered Jay getting ready & myself Sarah & the children, though it was military operations making sure that Jay did not see Sarah after she started getting ready, which involved lots of arm flapping & sign language through windows to get Jay to turn round whilst Sarah went past.
The service was beautiful & involved both Sarah & Jays children, with their little boy giving Sarah away, lots of tears shed.
The weather held for the group shots, just !! We managed to get the confetti shot done & the heavens opened, thankfully only for few minutes & we were soon back outside taking the shots of the happy couple, we even managed to get a bouquet toss done, before the heavens opened again, it didn't spoil the day at all and they have lots of memories to remember the day by.
